Bio
A talented junior cricketer who famously claimed a hat-trick against Pakistan at under-16 level, Jordan Clark chose football and was selected by Geelong with pick 15 in the 2018 National Draft. He made an immediate impact at the Cats, earning a Rising Star nomination in his debut season with his dashing run from defence, but found consistent opportunities difficult to secure in a veteran-laden premiership contender. After 32 games across three seasons at Kardinia Park, Clark requested a trade home to Western Australia at the end of 2021, seeking greater stability and playing time with Fremantle.
Since joining the Dockers, Clark has transformed from a fringe player into a premier rebounding defender. His game is built on electrifying pace and the ability to break lines, often initiating offensive chains from deep in defence while maintaining strong accountability against dangerous small forwards. This consistency saw him reach new heights at his second club, highlighted by his victory in the 2024 Doig Medal count as Fremantle's club champion. Now an indispensable member of the back six, Clark's decision to return west has been vindicated by his evolution into a reliable and damaging senior footballer.
