Bio
Recruited from the Murray Bushrangers with pick 55 in the 2020 National Draft, Dominic Bedendo arrived at the Whitten Oval as an athletic forward with significant aerial potential. Known for his vertical leap and capacity to take spectacular marks, he spent his first season developing in the reserves before breaking through for his AFL debut against the Brisbane Lions in Round 16, 2022. Although he managed to kick a goal across his two senior appearances that year, Bedendo found it difficult to command a regular spot in a Bulldogs attack laden with tall targets such as Aaron Naughton and Jamarra Ugle-Hagan. Unable to break back into the senior side during the subsequent seasons while battling injuries, he was delisted at the conclusion of the 2024 season.
