Bio
Originally the captain of the Oakleigh Chargers, Blake Drury arrived at North Melbourne via the first pick in the 2022 Rookie Draft after initially being overlooked in the National Draft. A high-energy small forward capable of pushing up the ground, he relied on his exceptional running power and defensive pressure to impact the game rather than high possession numbers. Drury made his debut in Round 8, 2023 against St Kilda and played sporadically over two seasons as the Kangaroos sought the right mix for their forward line. Despite his strong work ethic, he struggled to consistently impact the scoreboard or cement a spot in the senior side and was delisted at the conclusion of the 2024 season.
