Bio
Harvie Cooke is a strong and powerful inside midfielder and small forward who has built a decorated resume during a standout draft year. Coming through the Eltham pathway to the Northern Knights, he became the first Knight since 2009 to win the Morrish Medal as the Talent League's best and fairest player. He also claimed his club's top honour and earned All Australian selection after representing Victoria Metro at the National Championships, where he finished top five in the Larke Medal voting.
Known for his professionalism and relentless work ethic, Cooke thrives on scrapping hard to win contested ball and applying intense tackling pressure through the midfield. Scouts praise his speed and endurance mix, which he showcased at the national draft combine by placing fifth in both the agility test and the two-kilometre time trial. While occasionally flying under the radar compared to higher-profile prospects, his consistent form and well-rounded athletic profile have cemented him in top-25 conversations ahead of the national draft.
