Bio
Hailing from Horsham, Archie Elliott has established himself as a dynamic general forward for the GWV Rebels and Victoria Country. The son of a former Horsham and Robinvale player, Elliott enjoyed a breakout 2026 campaign that saw him earn a spot on the half forward flank in the Talent League Team of the Year. His season was highlighted by a dominant seven-goal game against the Bendigo Pioneers, which helped propel him to a runner-up finish in the Rebels best and fairest count. He also featured prominently at the National Championships, aiding Victoria Country with his consistent scoreboard impact.
Modelling his game on energetic forwards like Jamie Elliott and Kai Lohmann, he offers a blend of aerial presence and ground-level craft. Scouts praise his well-timed leading patterns, shrewd reading of the play and strong marking ability. While he is a dangerous target who converts reliably from set shots, he also brings excellent crumbing skills and defensive intent. After earning an invite to the national draft combine, Elliott is widely rated as a second-round prospect who does not require high possession numbers to heavily influence a match.
