Bio
Harrison Leeder emerged as a reliable avenue to goal for the Northern Knights during their run to the Talent League minor premiership. The athletic key forward stepped up on the representative stage, featuring for Vic Metro during their undefeated Under 18 National Championships campaign. His standout performances included kicking four goals against the Dandenong Stingrays and a strong showing in Vic Metro's comprehensive championship deciding victory over Vic Country.
Although slightly undersized for a traditional key post, Leeder makes up for it with strong marking ability and competitiveness in the air. He is known to fly for contested grabs but is equally effective as a hit up target, using his speed and intelligent leading patterns to create separation from bigger defenders. Scouts have praised his work rate to bring the ball to ground for small forwards when he cannot complete the mark. Consistently finding space inside 50, Leeder is widely rated as a top 40 prospect and has even been touted as a potential top 20 contender.
