Bio
Lachlan McGlade is a crafty small forward from Western Australia with excellent goal sense and agility. Coming through the pathway at Upper Swan and the East Perth Royals, he represented his state at the National Championships and proved to be a constant scoring threat. McGlade showcased his talents in a standout performance during a comeback victory against Victoria Country, where he booted a game-high three goals.
Known for applying strong defensive pressure inside the forward arc, McGlade thrives at ground level and creates opportunities by locking the ball in. Scouts note his ability to hold his own in one-on-one contests and praise his natural forward craft, which he even celebrated with a backflip after snapping a special goal against South Australia. Widely rated as a later selection in the draft pool, he earned an invitation to the state draft combine.
