Bio
Noah Braun has emerged as a dynamic father-son prospect for the West Coast Eagles, following in the footsteps of his father Michael, a 2006 premiership player. The Claremont product started the season outside the state squad but forced his way in with a stunning run of form in the WAFL Colts. His breakout game came in May against Perth, where he smashed the colts disposal record. This earned him a late call-up to represent Western Australia at the National Championships, playing the final two carnival matches.
A creative left-footer, Braun uses his running power to outwork opponents and consistently find space on the outside. He is especially dangerous in the forward half, where his vision sets up scoring opportunities for teammates. While scouts praise his tremendous work rate and ball-winning knack, he will need to build strength and add size to his light frame to match mature bodies at the highest level. Braun is viewed as a potential selection in the second half of the national draft, with West Coast holding priority access to match any rival bids.
