Bio
Recruited from West Adelaide with pick 25 in the 2004 National Draft, Adam Hartlett arrived at Carlton as a talented key position prospect capable of swinging between defence and attack. The older brother of Port Adelaide midfielder Hamish Hartlett, Adam demonstrated strong marking hands and athleticism during his limited opportunities at senior level, most notably during a brief string of matches in 2007. However, his five seasons at Princes Park were heavily compromised by recurring hamstring injuries that prevented him from stringing games together or building necessary match fitness. Unable to shake these persistent soft-tissue setbacks, he was delisted at the conclusion of the 2009 season having played just 11 games for the Blues.
