Bio
Arriving at Princes Park via Melbourne University and the Williamstown Methodists, Adam Inglis produced one of the most explosive starts to a career in VFL history. The goal-kicking rover made an immediate impact by booting five goals on debut in 1951, showcasing a natural ability to find the major opening that instantly excited the Bluebaggers faithful. However, his promising career was cruelly cut short almost as soon as it began; he sustained an injury in just his second game that ultimately ended his time at Carlton. Although he later transferred to Footscray in 1952 in an attempt to revive his VFL journey, he was unable to break into the senior side at the Kennel, leaving his brief cameo as a tantalising glimpse of what might have been.
