Bio
Adam Lange was a versatile utility who took a circuitous route to Arden Street, captaining the Western Australian U18s before crossing to the SANFL to play in a Grand Final with Sturt in 1998. Selected by North Melbourne with pick 74 in the 1998 National Draft, he broke into the senior side during the Roos' 1999 premiership campaign but missed out on the flag, playing five games in his debut season. His most productive year came in 2000, where he earned a Rising Star nomination and played 20 games as a lead-up forward and defensive option, featuring in the club’s finals series. However, he struggled to retain his spot over the following two seasons and was delisted at the end of 2002. Lange subsequently returned to WA and forged a distinguished career with Swan Districts, captaining the club and winning two Swan Medals as their best and fairest.
