Bio
A testament to persistence, Adam Marcon arrived at Punt Road as a mature-age recruit after establishing himself as one of the premier midfielders in the state leagues. Selected by Richmond in the Rookie Draft following a stellar 2015 campaign with Williamstown where he claimed the Fothergill-Round Medal, Marcon broke into the senior side midway through the 2016 season. A hard-working inside midfielder known for his contested ball-winning ability, tackling pressure, and knack for hitting the scoreboard, he managed eight goals across his 11 appearances. Despite proving he could compete at the level during a difficult year for the Tigers, he was delisted after just one season, subsequently returning to the Seagulls where he captained the club and cemented his status as a modern VFL great.
