Bio
Recruited from the Redland Bombers in the NEAFL, Adam Oxley joined Collingwood via the 2013 Rookie Draft. A tall defender best deployed as a loose man across half-back, he possessed strong aerial ability and excelled at intercept marking, though often faced scrutiny regarding his physical strength and one-on-one defensive accountability. Oxley made a high-profile debut in the annual Anzac Day clash but struggled to cement a regular senior spot until a breakout 2015 campaign where he featured in 17 matches. Despite that promise, recurring soft tissue injuries and inconsistency hampered his continuity, leading to his initial delisting at the end of 2017. While the Magpies offered him a lifeline via the rookie list for the 2018 season, he added just three more games to his tally before departing the club permanently.
