Bio
Recruited as one of Greater Western Sydney's foundation 17-year-old access selections, Adam Treloar immediately established himself as a high-production midfielder capable of breaking lines with pure running power. After five seasons helping establish the Giants, he requested a high-profile trade to Collingwood in 2015, a move that cost the Magpies two first-round draft picks. At the Holden Centre, Treloar became a fan favourite and a key engine room operator, playing a pivotal role in the club's run to the 2018 Grand Final while consistently ranking among the league's top possession winners.
His time in black and white ended controversially following the 2020 season when Collingwood's salary cap pressures forced a trade to the Western Bulldogs, creating a messy exit for a player who had initially intended to remain a Magpie for life. Treloar responded with resilience, immediately bolstering the Bulldogs' midfield and featuring in the 2021 Grand Final against Melbourne. Despite lingering soft-tissue concerns earlier in his career, he found career-best form as a veteran, notably earning a maiden All-Australian blazer in 2024 to validate his standing as one of the modern era's most consistent accumulators.
