Stats
Bio
Recruited from local stronghold Parkside, Adrian Perry was a sturdy defender who serviced North Melbourne's backline during a lean era for the club in the early 1960s. Standing at 180cm, Perry was typically deployed in a defensive stopping role, prioritizing accountability over attacking flair, evidenced by his failure to register a goal across his six seasons at Arden Street. After struggling to cement a spot in the senior side during his first few years, he enjoyed his most consistent campaign in 1963, making 15 appearances as the Kangaroos pushed towards mid-table respectability. Despite this breakout season, he was unable to maintain a permanent place in the starting 22, eventually departing the VFL scene following the 1965 season as a serviceable depth player who provided honest effort in the defensive 50.
