Bio
Recruited from Nhill in western Victoria, Alan Fuller arrived at Glenferrie Oval during the mid-1930s, a typically lean era for the club then known as the Mayblooms. He broke into the senior side for the opening round of the 1934 season and established himself as a consistent presence in his debut year, missing only three matches. Utilised primarily as a follower who could drift forward or support the backline, Fuller provided necessary grit to a struggling Hawthorn outfit. However, his tenure at the top level was brief, and after managing just five games in his second season, he departed the VFL scene at the conclusion of 1935.
