Bio
Recruited from the Brunswick Amateurs, Alan Peel was a mature-age arrival at the Junction Oval who earned a brief trial with St Kilda during the club's lean years in the early 1930s. Born in Benalla, the compact 174cm utility broke into the senior side late in the 1932 season, notably booting his solitary career goal against Essendon at Windy Hill. While he offered depth as a resting rover or forward pocket, Peel was unable to secure a permanent place in the lineup, making just four appearances across two seasons before drifting out of the VFL system. He later served in the Australian Army during the Second World War.
