Bio
Making his debut for St Kilda in 1924 at just 17 years of age, Alan Scott was a local junior prospect who joined the club during a particularly lean era at the Junction Oval. He managed sporadic senior appearances across three seasons, usually filling defensive roles for a side that frequently struggled against the league's heavyweights. While he showed initial promise by breaking into the team as a teenager, Scott found it difficult to command a permanent position in the starting eighteen and failed to register a goal during his time at the top level. He eventually parted ways with the Saints after his final appearance midway through the 1926 season, concluding a brief VFL career before his twentieth birthday.
