Bio
A member of Collingwood's most enduring football dynasty, Albert Pannam was the younger brother of club legend Charlie Pannam Snr. Born in Tasmania and recruited from Wynyard, he arrived at Victoria Park to join his sibling in 1907, establishing himself as a rover and forward. He played regular senior football in his first two seasons, featuring in semi-final defeats in both 1907 and 1908, but found opportunities scarce in 1909. After departing the playing arena with 28 games to his name, Pannam carved out a significant second act as an official, serving as a VFL field and boundary umpire between 1914 and 1929.
