Stats
Bio
Recruited from the British Stars and Collingwood Juniors, Albert "Little" Walsh was a diminutive utility who struggled to cement a regular spot in the Magpies' senior lineup. Standing at just 169cm, he made his debut in a comfortable victory over St Kilda in 1899 but was immediately omitted, waiting more than a year for his second and final opportunity. That recall came against the same opponent in 1900, resulting in another win and leaving Walsh with a flawless—albeit brief—winning record at VFL level. Despite his local pedigree, he was unable to break past the club's established stars and departed the league after just two senior appearances.
