Stats
Bio
A wingman recruited from Moe in the Latrobe Valley, Alby Law arrived at Windy Hill during a highly competitive era for the club. He struggled to cement a regular spot in the senior lineup, managing only a handful of appearances across three seasons, but tasted success as a member of Essendon's 1952 Reserves premiership team. Following his brief VFL stint, Law returned to his home club in the Gippsland region where he built a significant legacy, eventually captain-coaching the reserves and later guiding the Moe seniors to a premiership in 1967. Tragically, he passed away just three years after that triumph at the age of 40.
