Bio
Recruited from Caulfield, Alec Crozier was a tall follower who joined Hawthorn in 1926 during the club's difficult formative years in the VFL. Standing at 188cm, he possessed the physical attributes to compete in the ruck but found senior opportunities scarce, spending the majority of his debut season in the reserves before finally earning a selection for the final round against Melbourne. Although he was a consistent performer in the seconds—frequently named among the best on ground—he added just three more senior appearances in 1927. Unable to command a permanent spot in the starting 18, his brief top-level career concluded after four games, marking him as a serviceable depth player during the Mayblooms' searching early era.
