Stats
Bio
Recruited from VFA club Camberwell, Alec Fyfe was a medium-sized forward who joined Collingwood during the club's transition following the legendary "Machine" era. Standing 178cm, he operated primarily in the forward half, though his modest return of three goals from 11 matches indicates he played more of a supporting role up the ground rather than as a focal point near the sticks. After making his debut in Round 9, 1934, Fyfe battled to hold a spot in a formidable lineup that was perennially contending for finals. Although he managed appearances during the 1935 season, he was unable to cement his place in the side for the business end of the year, ultimately missing out on selection for the Magpies' premiership triumph.
