Bio
A local product recruited from the Corio Football Club, Alf Day earned his brief opportunity with Geelong during the 1907 VFL season. Born in the region, he broke into the senior lineup to play seven matches, managing to boot a solitary goal while striving to establish himself in the side. His career at the elite level was confined to that single winter, serving as a depth player for the Pivotonians during a middling year for the club. Unable to secure a permanent spot in the 22, Day departed the VFL scene after his short tenure at Corio Oval, remaining one of many local recruits whose league journey was limited to a handful of appearances.
