Bio
Recruited from the Gippsland Power with pick 10 in the 2024 National Draft, Alixzander Tauru joined St Kilda as an athletic utility renowned for his exceptional vertical leap and aerial courage. His debut 2025 campaign was initially delayed by a back injury, but he recovered to break into the senior side and play 10 games, largely featuring as an intercepting defender who could read the play and impact contests in the air. Capable of swinging forward when required, he booted his first career goal during his rookie season while establishing himself as a competitive aerialist. As he enters his second year, Tauru is viewed as a developing key position prospect with the athleticism to become a fixture in the Saints' backline.
