Bio
Recruited from local nursery St Ignatius, Allan Granger was a lively forward who showed significant promise during a short stint with Richmond. Making his debut as a teenager in 1914, he quickly established himself as a dangerous option near goal, managing a tidy return of 11 goals from his 11 senior games. His ability to hit the scoreboard suggested a long future at Punt Road, but his career was ultimately confined to the turbulent 1914 and 1915 seasons, with Granger departing the VFL scene just as he was finding his feet at the elite level.
