Bio
Recruited from Orbost in East Gippsland, Allan McMullen faced the difficult task of breaking into St Kilda's lineup during the club's premiership defence in 1967. A diminutive rover and forward standing just 173cm, the 18-year-old managed to force his way into a side brimming with proven talent, debuting in Round 11 against Fitzroy. While he provided energy and youth to the Saints' mix, McMullen's VFL career was ultimately brief, restricted to five senior appearances and a solitary goal in that single season before he departed the elite level.
