Bio
A South Australian native from Beachport, Alwyn Davies made a fleeting but undefeated appearance for St Kilda during the first season of the post-WWI era. He broke into the senior lineup late in the 1919 season, debuting in a Round 13 victory over Essendon at the Junction Oval. Davies held his spot for the following week's win against Geelong, concluding his VFL career with a perfect winning record from his two matches. Despite the team's brief surge in form during his tenure, he did not feature again for the Saints after that fortnight of football and died in Moonee Ponds in 1949.
