Bio
Recruited by Richmond with pick 73 in the 2006 National Draft from the Bendigo Pioneers, Andrew Collins was a pacy small forward and midfielder capable of hitting the scoreboard. After showing flashes of potential but struggling for consistency at Punt Road, he became the central figure in a direct player swap for Carlton's Shaun Grigg following the 2010 season. Collins arrived at Princes Park looking for greater opportunities, but his tenure was marred by persistent injuries and form struggles that limited him to just 11 games over three seasons. He was delisted by the Blues at the end of 2013, with his career often cited in retrospective analyses of the trade that brought him to the club.
