Bio
Recruited from the Tassie Mariners with pick 30 in the 2004 National Draft, Andrew Lee arrived at Essendon as a promising key position prospect capable of playing at either end of the ground. However, his four-year tenure at Windy Hill was defined almost exclusively by injury frustration, with osteitis pubis and persistent hamstring issues severely restricting his availability. He managed to break into the senior side for a brief stint in mid-2006, debuting against St Kilda and kicking two goals in his second game against Fremantle, but was unable to secure a permanent spot in the lineup. Failing to add to his game tally in his final two seasons as the club underwent a rebuilding phase, Lee was delisted at the conclusion of 2008 having played just five senior matches.
