Stats
Bio
Recruited from West Torrens to join the inaugural Adelaide Crows squad, Andrew Payze was a versatile key position player capable of operating at either end of the ground. He featured in seven matches during the club's historic debut 1991 season, but ultimately struggled to cement a permanent place in Graham Cornes' senior lineup against established defensive stalwarts. Used primarily as a depth player who could fill gaps as a swingman, he managed just seven more appearances over the next two years before being delisted at the end of 1993, returning to the SANFL where he became a premiership captain for Woodville-West Torrens.
