Bio
Recruited from the Dandenong Stingrays with pick 64 in the 1997 National Draft, Andrew Shipp was a nippy small forward and midfielder who played a fringe role for Fremantle during the club's turbulent turn-of-the-century era. After making his debut in 1999, he enjoyed his most productive campaign in 2000, making 16 appearances and demonstrating an ability to hit the scoreboard as a crumbing option. However, Shipp struggled to secure a permanent position in the senior lineup amidst the team's on-field struggles and coaching instability under Damian Drum. He managed just a handful of games over his final two years as the list underwent significant turnover, leading to his delisting at the conclusion of the 2002 season following the arrival of Chris Connolly.
