Bio
Recruited from the Geelong Falcons, Andrew Siegert entered the AFL via the rookie list before earning a senior elevation at Fremantle. A hard-nosed utility best known for his work as a tenacious tagger and defender, he enjoyed a breakout debut season in 2002, playing 21 games and impressing with his physical approach and willingness to shut down opponents. Despite this promising start, Siegert struggled to cement a permanent spot in the Dockers' lineup over the subsequent three seasons, adding just 15 more appearances before being delisted at the end of 2005. While he trained with Geelong in hopes of an AFL lifeline, he ultimately remained in Western Australia to forge a successful WAFL career, becoming a premiership player with South Fremantle in 2009.
