Bio
Recruited from West Perth as a mature-age rookie, Andrew Strijk was a versatile utility known for his penetrating right boot and strong overhead marking. He made the most of his elevation to the senior list in 2010, playing 10 games and showing potential as a dangerous half-forward who could also drift into defence to set up play. Despite this promising start, Strijk struggled to cement a regular spot in the Eagles' lineup over the subsequent two seasons, adding only three more appearances before being delisted at the end of 2012. He subsequently returned to West Perth, where he established himself as a genuine star of the WAFL, playing over 200 games for the Falcons and earning status as one of the modern state league's premier figures.
