Stats
Bio
Recruited from Colac in the club's productive Western District recruiting zone, Andy Larkins was a diminutive rover and forward pocket who earned a brief opportunity at the start of the 1950 season. Standing just 168cm, he relied on his agility and goal sense, making his debut in Round 1 and holding his place for the first month of football. Although he managed to average a goal a game during his short stint, Larkins found himself squeezed out of a formidable lineup that was rapidly building towards the premiership successes of 1951 and 1952. Unable to reclaim a senior spot amidst the emerging star power of the Cats' dynasty, his VFL career was confined to that single month of senior football before he eventually returned to the country leagues.
