Bio
Angus McDonald was a Wimmera-born forward who experienced a brief stint with St Kilda on the eve of the First World War. Recruited from Port Melbourne in the VFA, he broke into the senior lineup for the Round 3 clash against Essendon at the Junction Oval in 1914, where he made an immediate impact by booting a goal on debut. Despite this promising start, McDonald managed only one more senior appearance before falling out of the side. His VFL career was ultimately confined to that single season, and he later returned to country Victoria, living out his remaining years in St Arnaud.
