Bio
Recruited from Nightcliff in the Northern Territory with pick 53 in the 2002 National Draft, Anthony Corrie was an exciting half-forward known for his blistering speed and instinctive goal sense. He debuted for the Brisbane Lions in 2004 and showed significant potential as a line-breaker, particularly during a promising 2005 campaign, but his progress was frequently stalled by inconsistency and a season-ending knee injury in 2007. In search of greater opportunity, Corrie was traded to Collingwood at the end of 2008 in exchange for a late draft pick, but he was unable to recapture his best form at the Magpies. Hampered by further injuries and the difficulty of breaking into a premiership-contending side, he added only a few games to his tally before being delisted at the end of 2010.
