Bio
The younger brother of St Kilda legend Robert Harvey, Anthony Harvey arrived at Moorabbin via Frankston with a celebrated sporting pedigree that included Test cricketing ancestors. A tireless and skilled midfielder in his own right, he managed just four senior appearances for the Saints in 1994, struggling to secure a regular spot in the engine room before being delisted. While his AFL stint was brief, Harvey forged a magnificent legacy in South Australia after crossing to Norwood in 1995. He evolved into a fearless on-baller and inspirational leader for the Redlegs, most notably captaining the club to the 1997 SANFL premiership in the absence of Garry McIntosh and claiming the club's best and fairest award the following year.
