Bio
Recruited from Claremont with pick 67 in the 1994 National Draft, Anthony Jones etched his name into Fremantle history as a member of the club's inaugural AFL side in 1995. A key defender capable of playing on both tall and medium forwards, he was known for his disciplined spoiling and ability to lock down opponents deep in defence. Despite possessing the talent to hold down a key post, Jones endured a frustrating run of injuries, including significant arm and shoulder setbacks, which restricted him to just 82 games over nine seasons. He remained a loyal servant through the Dockers' often turbulent early years, eventually delisted at the conclusion of the 2003 season as the club looked to rebuild its list.
