Archie Devine

Archie Devine has cemented his reputation as a prolific ball-winner coming through the Tasmania Devils program. A versatile playmaking utility, he showcased his ability to find the footy consistently in the Coates Talent League and while representing the Allies at the National Championships. His standout form has kept him closely monitored by North Melbourne, where he is a highly regarded Next Generation Academy prospect. Having spent time training with the Kangaroos during the pre-season, the club holds priority access to him at the draft and is widely expected to match any rival bids.

Primarily deployed as an outside midfielder and half-back, Devine thrives in space and reads the play well to get into smart receiving positions. Coaches and scouts have praised his run and carry, along with his capacity to break the game open with his kicking and handballing chains. However, a major focus for his development remains on adding physicality to his game and improving his tackling intensity without the ball. As he continues to mature, finding the right balance between simply accumulating disposals and consistently hurting the opposition with damaging ball movement forward will be key to his success at the next level.
