Bio
Recruited from junior side Celtic, Arthur Britt made a sharp debut for Melbourne in late 1902, booting two goals in his only game for the club during a victory over Carlton. He transferred to St Kilda for the 1903 season but was limited to just three senior appearances at the Junction Oval without adding to his goal tally. Britt found his true footballing home in the VFA with Williamstown, where he developed into a reliable contributor over four seasons. A respected leader who served as vice-captain in his final year, he played over 40 games for the Seagulls and was subsequently honoured with life membership for his service to the club.
