Bio
Recruited from VFA club Preston following his junior development at Fairfield YCW, Arthur Fitt was a diminutive rover who received a brief call-up to the Fitzroy senior side during the 1950 season. Standing just 170cm, he made his debut in a Round 14 victory against Footscray and held his place for a win over South Melbourne the following week, granting him a perfect winning record from his two league appearances. Despite the team's success during his tenure, Fitt struggled to impact the scoreboard or cement a permanent role in the Lions' midfield rotation, resulting in his omission for Round 16 and a quiet conclusion to his VFL career.
