Ava Bilyk is a midfield prospect who captains the Geelong Falcons and plays community football for St Mary's. Growing up watching her father play country footy, she began her journey alongside boys, leading to her wearing a trademark helmet. Bilyk enjoyed an exceptional draft year in 2026. She co-captained Victoria Country and claimed the best and fairest award at the Marsh AFL National Championships, earning U18 All Australian captain honours and the Victoria Country MVP. She capped off her domestic season by being named captain of the Talent League Girls Team of the Year, highlighted by a dominant 33-disposal effort against Dandenong.
A versatile midfielder and forward, Bilyk is lauded for her elite football IQ, precise kicking and composure under pressure.
