Bio
Recruited from Hampton Scouts, Barry Cameron was a durable utility who served Richmond primarily as a half-back and follower throughout the late 1950s and mid-1960s. Noted for his exceptional stamina and capacity to run all day, Cameron was a relentless competitor who often saved his best performances for heavy, wet conditions where his work rate gave him an edge. While he played during a lean period for the club and missed the Tigers' golden premiership era that began shortly after his departure, he was a key member of the 1962 Night Premiership side and provided steady service across 96 games. He departed Punt Road in 1966 with Life Membership, later achieving success as a dual premiership captain-coach with Burwood in the Eastern District Football League.
