Bio
Selected by Hawthorn with pick 22 in the 2005 National Draft, Beau Muston arrived at the club as a talented but risky prospect having already undergone a knee reconstruction as a junior. His time at Waverley Park became a test of resilience, as recurring ACL injuries forced him to miss the entirety of the 2006, 2007, and 2008 seasons, watching from the sidelines as the Hawks claimed the premiership. A tall, athletic midfielder with the capacity to win his own ball, Muston finally made a memorable debut in Round 9, 2009, gathering 31 disposals and kicking a goal against Melbourne to repay the club's patience. Despite this promising start, his body could not sustain the rigours of AFL football, and after managing just 13 senior appearances across five years on the list, he was delisted at the conclusion of the 2010 season.
