Bio
Selected by Richmond with pick 12 in the 2013 National Draft, Ben Lennon entered the AFL system as a highly rated medium forward known for his penetrating field kicking and strong overhead marking. Despite his obvious technical skill, the Northern Knights product struggled to translate his junior dominance into consistent senior performance, often finding himself too good for VFL level but unable to lock down a permanent role in the Tigers' lineup due to endurance issues and inconsistent form. His development was further hampered by the intense competition for spots in Richmond's forward line, particularly during the club's 2017 premiership campaign where he managed just a handful of early-season appearances. After being delisted at the conclusion of that season with 21 games to his name, Lennon opted against pursuing a lifeline at another AFL club, instead moving to the United States to pursue a collegiate punting career with the University of Utah.
