Stats
Bio
A diminutive recruit from Berrigan in the New South Wales Riverina, Miller arrived at Geelong during the club's celebrated 1937 premiership campaign. Standing just 170cm, he was a lightly framed rover who managed to crack the senior side for six appearances mid-season, a respectable effort given the immense depth of the squad at the time. However, he faced the unenviable task of trying to cement a spot in a premiership-bound 18 that featured club legends like Reg Hickey and Les Hardiman, and he was ultimately squeezed out of the side prior to the finals series. Miller returned to the bush following his brief VFL stint, continuing his football journey with Berrigan in the Murray Football League before his premature death at the age of 44.
