Stats
Bio
Recruited from Cobden in western Victoria, Bernie Moran was a solid follower who played two seasons for Carlton in the mid-1950s. Standing 185cm, he was considered a tall utility for the era, capable of contesting the ruck or drifting forward to support the attack. He earned his senior debut in the opening round of the 1954 season against Hawthorn and featured regularly throughout his first year, helping to shore up the Blues' big man stocks under coach Percy Bentley. Despite a consistent start to his time at Princes Park, Moran's opportunities dwindled during his second season, and he concluded his VFL career at the end of 1955.
