Bio
Recruited from South Yarra, Bert Robertson was a local addition to the St Kilda list during the club's dismal, winless 1901 season. Standing 173cm, he operated as a small forward or rover, managing to boot a goal during his short two-game trial at the top level. His career was symptomatic of the Saints' struggles at the turn of the century, where the club rapidly churned through recruits in search of a competitive formula, with Robertson fading from VFL records shortly after his brief cameo.
