Bio
Hailing from Kyneton in central Victoria, Bill Arch was a traditional winger who plied his trade at Princes Park during the late 1950s and early 1960s. Recruited from the strong country football heartland, he brought pace and outside run to the Blues, carving out a role as a delivery man along the flanks. Despite showing ability at the level, Arch found it difficult to lock down a permanent position in the senior side, often oscillating between the firsts and the reserves as he competed for a spot in a developing midfield. He made his final appearances in the early rounds of the 1962 season before departing the VFL scene, leaving a legacy as a serviceable country recruit who earned his guernsey in a tough era of League football.
